The Warriors of Southern Philippines
Here is one of my illustrations for the upcoming historical book.
Description:
In the southern Philippines, the Muslim sultanates of Mindanao (Maguindanao and Sulu) strongly resisted Spanish colonial rule, and were therefore not integrated with the rest of the islands.
